Quad Bike Training Course
(Non NZQA unit standard course)
This is a one-day course covering all aspects of the safe operation of a Quad Bike based on best practice guidelines, basic maintenance, prestart /daily checks (based on operator’s manuals) and some practical driving skills.
The participants will receive a performance report and certificate of attendance.
NZQA Unit Standard Quad Bike Course
This is a course covering the below unit standards. (Or the unit standards that are required by the trainee/s).
Day one
Demonstrate knowledge of the safe operation of a quad bike

Credits: 3 @ level 2
Day two
Prerequisites
Candidates must have evidence of a minimum of 20 hours riding quad bikes in a workplace situation, over at least a three-week period, covering a range of tasks to achieve unit standards 24554, 24559, 24561 and 24563.
This evidence should consist of a riding logbook and verification of practical competency from the candidate’s employer or workplace/external training records. This evidence needs to be supplied before the course date.
Trainees must supply NZQA (NSN) number or ID (copy of driver’s license) & a completed Harris Training Services Ltd Enrolment Form.
